Maya Lin Stones Adult Seat

In celebration of their 60th anniversary, Knoll introduced the Maya Lin collection. As her first furniture for production, Stones was part of “the earth is (not) flat” collection. Reflecting the artist’s ongoing exploration of the relationship betweeen humans and the earth. Stones offers a low, monolithic ellipse of colored polyethylene as sculpture. Each piece has the simple, elliptical shapes and subtle curves that appear in much of the artist’s oeuvre.

The Stones collection is available as a child’s seat, adult seat and coffee table, in your choice of colors. The seats are available with optional cushion in various upholstery fabrics. Seat tops are slightly concave. For use indoors or out. Available with or without weight. With proper care and limited exposure to the elements, Stones without seat pads are suitable for outdoor use. Remove water in the concave seats to avoid permanent stains. White patina may appear on surface. During cool or inclement weather, it is recommended to bring Stones inside.
