“Fiber Bar Stool is the elevated extension to the Fiber Chair family. Retaining the essence of the Fiber series – a clear sculptural language that refuses to compromise on comfort – the bar stool is a versatile and conforming companion for any setting. We wanted to create a harmonious and friendly piece with soft shapes that would fit a cafe setting as much as a bar or kitchen counter. The stool’s seat is made from a wood fiber composite, giving the design a unique expression and and tactile texture.” -Iskos-Berlin

With an expression that is both comfortable and harmonious, the Fiber bar stool is a design with an unobtrusive yet distinct identity. Designed in two different heights, both available with or without backrest, the Fiber Bar Stool encapsulates the ideals of simply modern design with a human touch.

Iskos-Berlin is a Copenhagen-based design duo that has made international headlines within furniture, industrial, and graphic design. The studio, formerly known as Komplot Design, has collaborated with some of the world’s most prestigious manufacturers and their furniture, lighting, and other design products, are exhibited at numerous design museums around the world, including MoMA and the Danish Design Museum.

Shell consists of an innovative composition of plastic and up to 25% wood fibers. The wood fiber and plastic blend is injected into the mold, forming the stool’s shell. The Fiber Chair family is made partly from a natural material, meaning that variations in color can occur. Tube base in powder-coated steel.
